NEET UG Counselling — State Guides

Every state runs its own counselling process for state-quota seats, independent of MCC's AIQ counselling. The authority, portal, and specific domicile rules differ from state to state — these guides cover what's stable and worth knowing before you register, without guessing at seat-specific cutoffs or fees we can't verify.

We're building this out state by state, starting with a few of the largest candidate pools. If your state isn't listed yet, the general eligibility and state-quota pages cover the concepts that apply everywhere.

What's common across every state

Each state runs a separate registration, choice filling, and allotment process for its state-quota seats, using its own counselling authority and portal — not MCC's. Domicile eligibility criteria, reservation categories, and the exact round structure (some states run more or fewer rounds than the standard four) are set independently by each state.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my state's counselling process the same as AIQ?+

No — AIQ (15% of government seats, run by MCC) follows one national process. Your state's counselling authority runs a separate process for the remaining state-quota seats, with its own registration, portal, and rules.
